I will post here my overseas experiences and reflections on them. Some of these will be archival posts from past trips including the 6 months in Iraq, others will be from trips I take in the future. Some will be simple human interest pieces while others will be more reflective and issues-oriented.
I hope that all of the posts promote the common humanity we all experience.

Well, now that my brothers are getting blogs, I'll have to follow up on this initiative I took back in August of 2005. Unfortunately, since then I've taken a job in Winnipeg that will limit my travels, so my comments will be constrained to comments about things here that are informed by my travels.
